Such a cool concept ClayZ has, unfortunately their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. When we first went to paint our ornaments we were so disappointed, especially since we were part of a big group. Nobody greeted us when we first came, nor did any of the employees, which included the owner, gave us any instruction on what to do. We had to rely on the people we were with, who had been there before to tell us where to start and how to pick everything out. Instead the employees just chatted among themselves and stood outside smoking cigarettes. We were there 15 minutes after they closed when they then told us that we had to leave because they had to close, and if we wanted to come back to finish our paintings we would have to pay extra money. Then a week later when we went to pick up the ornaments the owner was once again extremely rude to us and our friends who came at a separate time as us. We found this place a bit by accident, saw the sign when driving on 27 to Route 70 from Germantown. The sign looked fun so we decided to go in. We got there at about 11am and didn't leave until closing that night! We did paint your own pottery and while we were waiting for paint to dry checked out glass fusing and decided to create pendants after we finished. I can't wait to go back again! ...read more
