As a local business owner I hear people everyday say that the summer months are very slow for sales. Why is this? I think that business do not realize that our permanent residents in Central Florida will shop if they have reason too. Air conditioned stores, places close by to eat and drink at and savings on merchandise will bring people in Instead of closing shop early and just accepting slow business why aren't businesses trying to bring more people in? I am interested in what other businesses do during these slower summer months to keep in the black. ...read more
