do not go to this hairdresser. she routinely double books as a matter of custom so you'll have to wait 30 minutes at the least. She also talks nonstop about her customersvery private business She tells one customer another customers-- NO details left out! I was absolutely horrified with the stuff she is told me about other customers ---names and all!! but the worst part is this --- she will not do the haircut you want if she does not like your idea. it is one thing for a hairdresser to make a suggestion for a different style --- that is great! it is another thing to do it the way Sophia does it --- she'll act like she is going to do the haircut you brought in in a picture --- but then do another one entirely! this is lying to to the customer and it is not how a good person conducts business.it shouldn't be this hard to get your hair cut the way you want. ...read more

Sophia will not cut your hair as you asked. she will not tell you she's going to do a different cut --- she just does. if you ask for a haircut she does not like? she will just give you some other haircut without discussing it with you first. you cannot get Sophia to agree to do what you ask no matter what --- unless you bring a witness. If you bring another person with you to observe how Sophia behaves and what she is doing? then your chances of getting a haircut you ask have increased. but not by much -- it is emotionally exhausting dealing with her! She also double books on a routine basis so you will sit 30 minutes every time. Beware she tells one customer all the business of another. the person who is waiting for me was a female lawyer whose husband apparently cheated on her but came in to buy a gift certificate. to try to make up with his wife. Sophia told me all these details and many more about that customer. She told my own friend mean things about me because she felt insulted I brought in drawings of how I wanted my hair cut instead of just letting her pick. That same friend by the way----has complained to me that no matter what hair style she is a Sofia to cut? Sofia gives her the exact same haircut every time.my friend is afraid of hurting her feelings if she goes to a new hairdresser. Not me it's a business relationship and I want the hairdresser to be able to cut what they say they're going to cut and to be honest and to be moral about backstabbing in breaking confidences.
