these people are only here to tell you what you want to hear so they can start taking your money. this was our first experience dealing with a realtor and home renting, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. John was really good and worked with us in getting us out of a bad situation where our previous landlord killed himself. once we signed the lease though, john moved on to other things and we were just left alone. on 3 occasions I called/presented myself at the office, trying to get someone to come over and review the movi in checklist with us. one excuse after the other, no one came and to this day no one at the office claims to remember any of that, even though they are the same employees that have been there all year. on moving in, there was blood in the fridge, dirty walls, etc. The painter they sent I had to "fire" because of the horrible job he was doing. They take their work literally, if the move in list says paint the walls, phil will only paint the walls. not the trim, door jambs, window sills or moldings.so you'll have clinically white walls with dingy trim all around. phil would even leave the roller resting on the wall so dripping paint could dry as it runs down the wall. I was also told that my leaky plumbing would have to get worse before they sent someone out to fix it. so I've had to "repair" one sink and one toilet so far. we still have one tub and one toilet that doesn't work. most of this was documented on the move in checklist, but the realtors claim they knew nothing of it. 7 months into the lease, after a letter I left them, they want to start repairs, on the outside siding of all things. the company they contracted emptied my shed of some items in their way, put my trashcan in my hamper, removed my outside lighting and then left. I had to remove nails from my driveway, clean my hamper, return items back to my shed and re install the lighting outside. after all this, would you want them to continue causing you more work or live out the rest of your lease? 7 months in, a day late and a dollar short, of course i'm going to tell you to keep your repairs to yourself, you didn't care in January when we signed a lease, why act concerned now?
