How many times does it take to fix something correctly? If you are lucky enough to get an apartment with a view then enjoy. Heat and cold work when they want it to and half the time and the other half it just doesn't work correctly at all. As for temp control spin a dial until it feels right for that room and adjust hourly. Water leaks in random walls, windows open on their own when the wind blows. Doors don't lock securely. When repairs are done dry wall dust is left throughout your entire apartment in layers. Heaters pop sending burning hot bits of carbon leaving scares on your body as you step out of the shower. Problem arose with apartment complex and I was responsible to pay for something I was not supposed to per the signed lease agreement. Management broke the agreement with me. Entered into negotiations with them via the BBB with no resolution - offered to enter into arbitration and Coopers Hawk was not interested. Escalated to level of regional manager and was not listened to. Sent complaint to Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, also to no avail thus far.\r\n\r\nBeyond that, the lighting outside our apartment is out and very scary to navigate after 7 pm. Problem with the door sweep, it needed to be replaced because the left half was missing - letting air out and bugs in. You could see light coming in from the outside. Submitted two work requests and still not fixed, gave up.\r\n\r\nStaff jumps through hoops to give time to people interested in new apartment but once you're in the community you're last on the list.\r\n\r\nSide gate has been broken since we moved in 3 months ago - when there were "plans to fix it" ...read more
