First customer service is the worst. They not even know what to do. Wait time is 2 hours literally. My husband and I spent 2 and half hours trying to send a pair of shoes to Cuba. When finally someone worked with us they told me that we have to send separate packages and they have a minimum weight, which could be reach with the 2 pairs (but they said no have to be separate) so we had to buy 6 coffee packages to reach the "minimum requirement" of course we had to pay for coffee too. When packages were ready we provide all information where to be sent and confirmed all info and they told us will be received in a month. We were agreed. After 5 weeks family in Cuba went to the postal office and they said that numbers were incorrect, so we had to call the agency to get the correct information. Was incomplete and they couldn't find the packages. Finally after 2 days we got the information. Now after 7 weeks postal office in Cuba say that package was sent incorrect to La Habana and they can't release the package to Camaguey. Called the agency all this week and people are rude and keep telling me that they did it correct and they can't do anything else just wait until the release the package maybe in 15 days. Spoke to "owner" Levy Montes de Oca (who is the worst and rudest person I talked) and he told me that they can't do anything else and that he don't have time to explain to me details of the shipping. As a customer missing a package I need to know all the details due to lack of information. I am not even sure this is a legitimate business, but certainly as an alleged provider of travel services, Golden Tours is unsatisfactory. I was told by a timeshare company in Mexico that I had to use this travel agency. Unfortunate. When they told me that they had obtained my reservations, the cost was higher than if I had just booked them myself. The worst part was that I had to fax them a copy of my driver license, credit card, and then complete a handwritten form and fax that to them. They are in the dark ages. The next day, while I was at a conference, they sent me an email to say that the dollar amount was wrong, and I needed to fill out another form. I called them, but they did not help, and they lost the reservations. Then they wanted me to re-book at a higher price, and they needed a new form, and they did not even tell me what the new higher price would be.
