came to Mercantile Bank for the specific purpose of changing our existing checking accounts from accounts that were charging fees to new ones that didn't. (We had been in Sweep accounts for years, but now due to low interest rates, those accounts were costing us rather than paying us) I met with branch manager,Pat Mossimo, Gainesville Florida. Pat said she would take care of it. I spot checked the new account fees the next month or so and the fees were low and acceptable. I thought no more of it. Reconciliations are done by our office manager, not by me, so I didn't revisit this issue again till this September.
