Fire damage destroys garage covered or not under dwelling coverage

Ever wondered what coverage you're really getting on your home? Accredited Public Adjusters can adequately inform you on concerns such as this. For example; there is a homeowner's claim involving a garage that was destroyed via fire. Originally, the garage was separated from the dwelling by an estimate of ten feet. However, the insured had recently built a deck structure over the ten foot clear space which then connected the deck to both the dwelling and the garage securely; conjoining the two structures. The concern regarding this claim is whether the garage is still considered a separate building (putting it under Coverage B) , or if it is a part of the dwelling (subject to the coverage A limit of liability). Coverage B applies only to structures separated from the dwelling by a clear space. Therefore, the addition of the connecting deck structure makes the garage actually a part of the dwelling. It is a connection that is sufficient enough to allow the garage and dwelling to be looked at as a single building which is covered under dwelling Coverage A. This is just one example of how coverage may change within a policy. The insurance company may or may not explain this after a covered loss occurs and you will need to know your rights within your policy, our best advice is to read it carefully. For more information concerning policy coverage's, contact Accredited Public Adjusters through our blog, visit our website atwww.apublicadjuster.net, or call us at 772-466-1178. ...read more

Removing Appraisals from Insurance Policies is Real Bad for Insureds

Did you know most insurances companies have been removing one of the most important parts within your insurance policy and most people don't even know it?This unknown secret is called the Appraisal Claus, and if you have ever suffered from a loss you may or may not know how important this can be to the insured. This provides the insured to a fair claims adjustment process that without you will be at the insurance company's mercy to take what they give or hire an attorney to sue and even that has limitations. This is just one of many changes the insurance industry is making to limit claim recovery for the insured. Below is their best option after removing the Appraisal Claus and if you have ever been through the mediation process you know it is a joke.   Appraisal is replaced by the following:   Mediation.   If there is a dispute with respect to a claim subject to mediation under this policy, either we or you may:   Demand a mediation of the loss in accordance with the rules established by the Florida department of Financial Services.   The loss amount must be $500 or more, prior to application of the deductible; or there must be a difference of $500 or more between the loss settlement amount we offer and the loss settlement amount that you request.   The settlement in the course of the mediation is binding only if both parties agree, in writing, on a settlement and, you have not rescinded the settlement within3business days after reaching settlement.   Pay close attention to this next statement:   You may not rescind the settlement after cashing or depositing the settlement check or draft we provided to you.   We will pay the cost of conducting any mediation conference except when you fail to appear at a conference.   That conference will then be rescheduled upon your payment of the mediator's fee for that rescheduled conference.   However, if we fail to appear at a mediation conference, we will pay your actual cash expenses you incur in attending the conference and also pay the mediator's fee for the rescheduled conference.   Suit against us is replaced by the following:   Suit against us. No action can be brought against us unless there has been full compliance with all of the terms under Section I of this policy and the action is started within 5 years after the date of loss. ...read more

Retirement won't be their for all of us, so what can we do?

My wife and I have been saving for retirement for a short time now but in these economic times I don't see things moving fast enough to reach our goals in the allotted time line. So I started looking for additional ways to increase our retirement funds and stumbled across this program called One24, This program allowed me to fast forward my retirement in just 24 months. The trickiest part was getting into the program, I had to be put on a waiting list and sit back until my number came up to enter the program. As I sat back waiting, I heard others were seeing large growth in their monthly income accounts and it was killing to just sit around waiting my turn to start the 24 month program. All that said, I am now in the program and telling everyone I can to check it out, but you need to hurry the waiting list seems to be getting longer as more people are finding out about it. Keep in mind this is not a get rich quick plan just a good plan that works over time if you stay the course.See for yourself, check out this link and if you like what you see click on the "Put me on the waiting list NOW button" then be patient and remember good things come to those who wait. God speed getting in and moving forward with your financial goals for the future, Here is the link I used hope it helps,http://simplyretire.124online.com let me know what you think, I would love to hear how others are benefiting. ...read more
