This is absolutely one of the worst day cares out there. The lady "Linda" is nice and loving at first but the reality is that she never moves out of her chair that she sits in all day long. She has a 50 year old son who lives with her and smokes cigarettes in the house all day long. Her so called play/school area looks good, but the kids do maybe 30 minutes of stuff a day in there at the most. Also the food that she serves is extremely low grade. We just absolutely love Wellington. When we moved to the area and asked around, nearly everyone that we asked told us to take our children to Wellington Academy and told us of the great experiences that they have had there. We have been nothing but happy. Our children are kept safe, nurtured, and receive an excellent education - what more can a parent ask for? The facility is very clean and well-kept. The teachers are outstanding (especially the three year old teachers). They invite parents and family members to be an active participant in their child's education through daily communication, progress reports, and special family events throughout the year. We also love that there is an open door policy and we can visit our children any time. The administrators are very friendly and attentive to our family's needs. We highly recommend Wellington Academy to anyone looking for the best for their children. ...read more
