I called Air Sunshine to schedule a flight from Guantanamo Bay to Fort Lauderdale, FL on May 22nd.The representative at Air Sunshine said there was no flight, and I would have to rearrange my connecting flight with Jet Blue for May 23rd.I asked her was she sure, because the flights online said May 22nd was the only flight available and I would have to incur a change in fare with Jet Blue.She confirmed there were NO SEATS AVAILABLE ON MAY 22ND, and I called Jet Blue to change my flight with them.I faxed in the appropriate form to Air Sunshine, when a lady called me back 15 minutes later saying the ONLY FLIGHT AVAILABLE WAS MAY 22ND!I was shocked.I told her of my story, and asked to speak with the original representative. She said she "misunderstood me, and thought I meant from FLL to Guantanamo, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND."I have asked for a refund for their error in causing me to change my flight with Jet Blue, and they will not. Last July my wife and I flew from New York to WIndhoek to visit her family that lives there. This trip required us to transfer at Johannesburg. We had checked in two bag at New York and those did not make the transfer. SAA delivered the bags to us a few hours later. At first everything looked fine. The bags weren't damaged and the TSA locks were in place. But when we opened the bag we discovered that the majority of the gifts we had purchased were missing. Their baggage handlers broke into our bags and helped themselves to our stuff. I did a Google search that night on the subject and found out it happens frequently. We went to the SAA Windhoek office the next day and filed a claim. James, the man helping us, gave me some attitude when I requested copies of the claim paperwork. Over a month later I get a check in the mail for $40, not even 5% of the value of the items stolen. They also butchered my name on the check so it is uncashable. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY WITH SAA. Turn over of owners, incompetent administration and this summer's FAA grounding makes it an airline we will never use again. Because of it's previous ties to Lynx Air and their safety record and consistency over the past 15 years flying into Haiti we chose FCA. It has none of that reliability whatsoever. Having traveled in and out of Cap Haitian with groups for nearly 20 years we thought we had experienced everything. This airline stranded groups this summer with NO communication or assistance with the fallout. Their US office staff has no information to give passengers-- different responses depending upon who you speak with at the time. I'm not sure it will be around much longer-- if it is, beware and if you choose them, have a back up plan (at your cost of course). ...read more

Stay away from this travel agency. The owner is a crook and he has stolen thousands of dollars from innocent travelers, eitherr by not paying the airlines for the tickects he has received payments for, or charging two or three times the credit cards of customers. He is under investigation for his wrong-doings and at this time the agency is not responding to phone calls.
