In response to ""Just a change of Charge"" Florida state statutes, a change of charge or money, is considered a NEW bond and cannot be re-written. Now maybe the judge was/is unaware of this, as they have much bigger things to deal with. We are governed by the Florida Dept. of Financial Services and our insurance companies. Horrible experience turned my return of service after my first court appearance so the judge reset the date the second time I went to court the judge said they had the wrong address come to find out this server had a typo on the return of service and that he would have to re serve her and when I contact the owner (my process server) he doesn't answer my calls or return my messages so he has wasted two work days for me in court and has potential gotten my whole case thrown out over a typo only he can fix my paperwork originally filed with the courthouse is right this companies very unprofessional I've never had so much trouble in my life with a company or with something so simple as delivering papers to a home I'm disgusted and hope no one has to waste their time with this company again ...read more

If your Judge requires an Affidavit to Remain on Bond - advise your clients looking for a bond to NOT use BIG TROUBLE BONDS. Apparently, BIG TROUBLE BONDS will NOT sign an affidavit to remain on bond under these circumstances. The client is arrested for Delivery. The state magistrate my client on the catch all - Sell/Deliver/Man Poss with Intent. At Arraignment - the client was arraigned on Delivery of Cocaine. Just a Change of Charge. Nothing else. BIG TROUBLE refuses to sign the affidavit and my client will have to go into custody to repost a bond with a new bondsman. And a new premium. What about his 10% premium - Nonrefundable. Their response - well we got him out of jail. BTW - Everyone else in the morning came in with affidavits and left the courtroom with their court dates. ...read more
