Great little WWII Museum you didn't know about. Very nice folks, but CALL FIRST FOR SCHEDULING A TOUR. It's run by an all volunteer staff, so their schedule is limited. Worth the time. On the National Register of Historic Places. Museum has archives of Flight 19 one of the great aviation mysteries, also former President George H.W. Bush trained here. It has a very historic feel to it, as it is the last remaining building from the naval base in WWII. Not recommended for small children because they have most of their artifacts on plain view, which I really enjoyed, but not for smaller children as these artifacts are historic. ...read more
