Terrible customer service. I have been trying for 8 weeks to get a refund from this company. We paid in advance for transportation from Ft Lauderdale to the Miami cruise port for 4 people. We had to cancel due to the death of one in the party and surgery for another. I was told 30 days for a refund which was nearly 4 weeks ago. Initially I was told to be patient after the 30 days had passed, now I don't even get a reply. It was so easy for them to charge my card $88 but I can't get my credit. They are horrible. ...read more

The upfront payment wasn't what I was expecting. But since it was a credit card and we were arriving early for our cruise, I said what the heck. I really didn't want to hear my Wife complaining by using this shuttle service from Ft. Lauderdale to the Port of Miami. Well, before I could get off the plane, the owner/operator was confirming I was a go. 5-STAR SERVICE. It's kinda cool to be talking with the owner/operator. Absolutely NO ISSUES!!! ...read more

They are complete frauds and WILL steal your money. They have an F rating from the BBB for a reason. On 1/13/2015 I contacted Executive Express Limousine aka Easy Express to arrange for transfers for 4 adults and 1 child w/car seat from Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) to the Port of Miami on 2/6/2015. I paid the $59 charge in advance. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the driver would pick us up at 12:30pm, but we needed to be at the Jet Blue terminal (Terminal 3) luggage area 8 by 12:15pm. We were at the location where we were told by 11:45am. At 12:26pm on 2/6/2015 I received a call wanting to know "Where we were?" I told him that we were exactly where we were told to be when I booked the transfer, and he said that we were supposed to be at luggage area 1, and we needed to get there immediately. We grabbed all of our bags, and 3-year-old child and ran to luggage area 1 only to find that there was no one there. At this point I was irate, I called back to find out where our driver was since we had just ran to a new location. I was told that he would be there shortly. At 1:00pm there was still no one there to pick us up, so I called back. At this time I was told that I only made reservations for 2 people, and that's all they could/would accommodate. We could either do that or find another company to drive us to the Port of Miami. I said that I would find another company, and wanted my $59 refunded. He said "A refund is no problem, I do not want your money." He then proceeded to hang up on me. We had to pay a boat load to get a last minute transfer, but we did get to our ship on time. As of today, 2/13/2015, no refund has been issued. I have contacted the billing dispute dept for my credit card and filed a BBB complaint to assist with getting my money refunded. ...read more

The owners of Carl’s Van Rentals recently issued new customer service goals for its employees, in order to improve the rental process for every rental guest. The new focus brings a change in management and a new staff member to the Tampa office. Two new counter agents have been added to the Orlando location as well and an additional lot attendant in Ft. Lauderdale. The revamped customer service policy has been implemented throughout all of Carl’s Van Rentals’ locations acrossFlorida. The first of the customer service goals states that the company will go above and beyond what is expected of a rental experience. The team at Carl’s Van Rentals strives to surprise each guest with the ease and simplicity of the rental process. The second goal is to always earn a recommendation, as word-of-mouth has proven to be a powerful marketing tool. These goals are paired with staff restructuring at the Tampa location, which welcomes Zac Griffin as the new office manager. Taking on a management role has been a natural progression for Griffin, as he’s been part of the company for over five years. Carl’s Van Rentals Opens Port Canaveral Location, Scooter Rentals
The executives at Carl’s Van Rentals recently announced the opening of a new location that will serve the Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach areas. The rental office is at 103 Cleveland Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL. With this new establishment comes the introduction of a new type of rental option for customers. Scooters will be available to rent exclusively at thePort Canaveral location. The new site offers the traditional vehicle rentals that are available at all other Carl’s locations across Florida. The rental fleet will include most types of vans including minivans, passenger vans, conversion vans, Sprinter vans, and minibuses. Carl’s Van Rentals has added Sprinter van rentals to its fleet, available at all locations across the state of Florida. Customers looking for a rental with plenty of space for passengers, as well as extra storage capacity, will be able to rent these spacious vehicles for their travels. Renters may still choose a car, SUV, truck, or other van rental if needed. These vehicles are custom-made to transport up to 15 passengers instead of the standard twelve-passenger capacity.
