Suggested by a friend and so glad she did. Fantastic food! Family business with the family care and personability. Outstanding chips, cooked fresh to order! Pastor tacos, mexican style soft with green salsa cannot be beat. Very affordable and open til 3am for the bar crawlers. Enjoyed every dish on the menu. Not fancy at all, food in a basket and you sit at a plastic table, but unbeatable. ...read more

Tia Cori's Tacos

Period. I don't care about the decor, the size of the margaritas, the extensive ness of the menu or any of that. I want a taco that tastes like they did off the taco trucks or the Mission District back home in San Francisco. Done Deal Here. The food comes in a basket, after you stand in line for it and get your number, the drinks are in a plastic cub-no fancy stuff here. There are places around to go if that is more important than the food. If the FOOD is what it's about for you, this is your only stop. Chips made to order-HELLO!? Odered, dropped in the oil, drained, salted and out hot to you. A variety of salsas hand made right there, the wonderful variety of meats I got used too back in SF. Staff that is Family in every way. We love you Tia, you are all part of our family too! ...read more

Tailgater's

Tailgaters Sports Bar and Grill faced the 2007 Super Bowl in a newly remodeled space formerly known as Checkers. The crowds that showed up to watch the game confirmed what most Daytona Beach natives already knew. Daytona was ready for a new sports bar and Tailgaters it the bill. The energy was high, the beer cold and the food was hot. And most importantly, everyone in the house had a clear view of the game on over forty high definition wall-mounted flat screens.New owner Herve Rabeaux is showing an equal commitment to exceeding his client's expectations as he did in his previous life as owner of Harley- Davidson in La Rochelle, France. He is a restaurateur and entrepreneur with a commitment to quality. That pledge is evident in his newly designed menu. With a Cajun flair, Tailgaters offers Wings and Burgers as well as Filet Mignon and Lobster Bisque. Add the full liquor bar and you are guaranteed there is something for everyone in your party on the menu. The staff at Tailgaters are equally committed. Manager and former featured bartender in BackStage Pass Magazine, Holly Gaylor has made a commitment to the excellence of Tailgaters for the past several years and comments that "Mr. Rabeaux treats his staff more then fair. We feel life Tailgaters is out family." A good attitude towards the establishment reflects in a wonderful experience for the patrons.Super Bowl XLII promises to take last year's Super Bowl to an even higher level, literarily. The large banquet room upstairs, available for any special event or party, will be open with plenty of additional seating and high definition projection screens to make room for the additional crowds expected at this year's festivities. Miller Lite and Budweiser will be in the house with contests and prizes. An All-You-Can-Eat Buffet will be available for only twenty dollars.
