Orange Blossom Special BBQ and Outdoor Expo (BBQ for Homes) Habitat for Humanity of East&Central; Pasco is gearing up for our 2nd AnnualOrange Blossom Special BBQ and Outdoor Expo. - Florida's Best BBQ, live music including National Recording Artists -The Carter Twins and Michael Ray, and more- March 19th&20th at the Dade City Business Center Festival Courtyard. This is a Charity BBQ Festival where all proceeds will go in to building more homes for families in our area. A Florida BBQ Association Competition will be going on during the festival; over $10,000 in prizes to be given away (including a People's Choice Award where guests may sample and vote for their favorite BBQ)! This competition is a Florida State BBQ Competition and also a "Jack Daniel's" National qualifier for the winning BBQ Teams from all over the state. I hope you will come out and enjoy the festivities while helping our community! Friday (March 19th) from 6-9 pm ¨ Best BBQ in Florida ¨ Music from Michael Ray, local country recording artist ¨ Contests just for fun and bragging rights: Beer Can Chicken Contest, Dessert Contest and "Anything But" (anything but BBQ) Contest. THE RIDE FOR HUMANITY Charity Bicycle Ride An East Pasco Habitat for Humanity Event Saturday, March 20, 2010 7am – 5pm Choose a 10, 30 or 62.5 mile ride. Start at Dade City Business Center and return for a fabulous lunch, live music&FUN! Road or Withlacoochee Trail options. All Riders sign in at Dade City Business Center and return for the BBQ festivities. $20 entry fee for 30 and 62.5 mile rides and $10 per person for 10 mile ride-$20 for families.
