Please tell me the rules of Clearwater Hsy and HUD about how much notice I must give to leave S8 housing. I'm in Chicago and in S8 housing and previous employee of HUD in Chicago. I've been offered apt at Barbee Towers. I must give notice where I live now of at least 3 weeks but Barbee Towers said I have 6 days to get to new apt when offered apt. HUD in Miami, Chicago, and D.C. said that is NOT the rule. I must give up to a months notice. But my apt bldg in Chgo will let me out of lease in 3 week after I've been notified of Apt in Clearwater. Please check info for me and please get back to me. Please get info from HUD about how much time I must give notice of leaving apt. Also, I need at least 3 weeks to get to Florida just moving, packing, etc. Please call me at 708-386-4093 or emai me. thank you very much, George LaGesse 114 S Humphrey #407 Oak Park, Il. 60302. We hired Home Instead to drive my Mom to her chemo appointments. Unfortunately, we live 100 miles away so we couldnt take her to all her appointments but we called and arranged for Home Instead to take her on days we couldnt. They not only took her but made sure she ate a good meal, picked up any medications, kept her home clean. Her caregiver is a sweetheart, Mom absolutely loves her and so do we. Thank you Home Instead!! ...read more

This company is not very nice and they were charging excessive rates to bring my father to the store. I needed someone to help my father when he could not drive to the store anymore. I work full time and have 3 kids, so I cannot always break away to take him to the shopping during the week when he likes to go. The staff was very rude and unpleasant in the office when I called. The people that came out seemed to be ok, but I would not recommend this company due to the abrasive personnel & high pricing. My father said they always seemed to be in a rush and they really only seemed to be interested in taking my checks. It was not very hard to drive him to the store and I thought since this was what we hired them to do, it would not be too difficult. They would show up late and then some days not at all. This was rude to say the least and I am glad that my Father is better now. He takes a cab or public transportation if he needs to go somewhere when I am unable to take him or his friends and other family are busy. ...read more
