1. he would never tell a youth that they were not allowed in the church. the only way that he would ever ask someone(s) to leave is if they were disrespectful in anyway to God, the youth, him, the church, or the workers.\t\n\t\n2. the youth group is open to all youth, not specifically to any one type of person. if a handicapped person of any kind were to come, he and the workers would do everything in their will to help them be comfortable and understand.\t\n\t\n3. i know from experience that he would never say anything like that and not follow through with an explaination and a counceling of how to grow, if not from him, from one of the workers.\t\n\t\n4. he has SOME calvinist beliefs, but is NOT calvinist. how about go talk to him, and he'll be more than happy to explain his beliefs to you.\t\n\t\n5. he doesn't even know how to be sneaky.\t\n\t\n6. i know all of this because i am his daughter and have been lucky enough to have him as a youth pastor myself.\t\n\t\n-- i know that before my father got to branford baptist that the youth group was suffering tremendously. he and my mother, with the help of other church members, brought the youth and youth building back to life. that church and those youth are my parents lives and they spend many countless hours at the "house" (youth building) working and praying for those youth. as i said, i was lucky enough to have my dad as my youth minister as have my other siblings, and we have all watched what an impact he made on our church, friends, and classmates lives. he is extroidinary at what he does and i do not believe that someone, just because they are put off with him, would write things so untrue. he is not perfect by any means, but he is completely devoted to those students and it shows through and through. ...read more

When the youth pastor (m. worsley) first arrived, he seemed like a decent man. As he got comfortable in his position, he changed for the worse. \t\n1. He has told youth because of their "lifestyle" they should not come back to 'this' church.\t\n2. He does not include special needs children in HIS program. Absolutely no accommodations are made for physically or mentally handicapped youth.\t\n3. He told one youth that she was not spiritual enough. He could not tell her how to become more spiritual or even why he made such statement to her.\t\n4. He is calvinistic. Meaning, he does not believe that one should tell others about Jesus so they may come to have eternal salvation but that if they are suppose to go to heaven, they will. Opposite of the pastor.\t\n5. Very sneaky person. ...read more
