I brought my TORO mower to be looked at. Initially the owner, Gary, told me the repairs may cost more than it would be worth but would call me. I never receieved a phone call. Therefore after a week I called him. The person I spoke with told me that the mower was fixed but when I asked how much the repairs were he stated, " I don't have a total just yet." When I picked up the mower not only had the initial repair be done but several other repairs had been done without my consent. I would advise anyone taking your equipment to Jefferies Service Center located at 1225 29th Ave W Bradenton, FL ask for a "written estimate" before walking out the door. I have called the Attorney General's Office on this matter and there is no state regulation on companies like this. So beware!!!! ...read more
