I believe that Bethany Baptist Church to be one of the most Spiritual Churches that I have visited. I was there last year in March in their Camp-Meeting Revival, Their pastor, Bro. Ed Barley is a most friendly Pastor. He made our family and friends of seven (7) very Welcome. The fine church folks fed us at their Church Dining Room daily and the food was great also. West Florida Teen Challenge was created as a response to families in pain. By the time boys get to us, the entire family is hurting and often in danger. Boys fulfill daily responsibilities and weekly drill and academic goals. They learn the value of submission to authority. Just as importantly, they discover the benefits of self-discipline. Best of all, they are introduced to a personal relationship with Christ and an understanding of His transforming power. While here, many boys complete their high school education. Marching drills, exercises, and healthy eating ensures they leave in the best shape they have ever been. They also have opportunities to play sports (basketball, soccer, baseball) participate in 5K runs, visit Third World countries, travel with the Stay Sharp team, and hear amazing speakers like Victor Marx in person.Before and after pictures are a highlight of our graduation ceremonies.
