Punch & Judy and the Three Sillies

Hillariously entertaining, Punch and Judy and the Three Sillies is inspired by timeless comedic styles like Laurel and Hardy and the Three Stooges!  Reggie, Ruby’s suitor, comes to visit Ruby and the Crimshams at their home. While visiting, Reggie comes to the conclusion that Ruby and her family are just too silly, and he breaks off the engagement, telling him that he may rethink his decision if he ever found three people sillier than they are. So, the Crimshams hatch a plan: they convince Reggie to spend the night and then pretend to be other people, sillier than themselves. A wonderful outing for families!   Tickets $12&$8 juniors and can be purchased by visiting website:  www.solchildren.orgMay 17 – 19  Fri. & Sat. 7pm;  Sat. & Sun. 2pm ...read more

Improv Comedy Night 2: Electric Boogaloo

Sol Children Theatre presents The IMPROVerished Players Yo dog … it’s time to float, freeze, pop&lock …You've seen them at the Florida Renaissance Festival dressed up like fops and wenches … now it’s time to don ‘80s garb and hit the stage breakdancing! Improvisation involves dialogue and actions created spontaneously in response to suggestions from the audience. There is no script and no plot. Game playing techniques put the performers in situations where they must use their imagination and comedic instincts, and what evolves is a combination of stand-up comedy and game show—with hilarious results. In the unpredictable world of improvisational comedy, anything can happen…and usually does. But what makes improv so unique and engaging is that the audience participates in the mayhem. So be prepared to enter a wacky world of anything-goes insanity, because the only thing that is predictable is an evening of laughs for everyone.   Tickets are $15 …. And make your reservation early as this is always a sold-out event.  Though this event is appropriate for all ages, content is for mature audiences.   TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON WEBSITE www.solchildren.org ...read more
