Family RV helped is with our motorhome repair that blew out our entire bathroom. They were extremely busy but still managed to get us in and fix our motorhome so that we could take our family vacation on time.

And bought our tent trailer here. We got a good deal on it and they worked hard to help get us a loan for it. They were nice but you can see through them and catch them trying to sell more than you needed -EX: They tried to rope us in for a engine maint program or something of the sort but a tent traier has none therefore the service was not needed. Hmmmm? Overall the experience was good but I wont rush back in.

I rented from Family RV on Friday and returned the rental on Sunday. I do understand that you do not do returns on Sunday but because I live in Antioch, it's extreamly inconvenient for me to make two trips to San Jose. I would like to make a formal complaint and plan to file a claim with the better business bureau. I feel as though I was taken advantage of in regards to the return of the vehicle. I was told at the time of rental that I would need to return the rv in the same condition that I picked it up. When I picked the rv up the gas was 3/4 full. When I returned the rv the gas was in the same place. I wasn't able to use the hot water and was told that there was a vaulve loose or turned off. In addition to this I was charged for the cleaning of the inside and out of the rv. Before I returned the rv, I personally took it and had it washed. Regarding the inside, I personally cleaned and wiped down the entire inside with several cleaning agents. I was charged for 2 hours of cleaning. In reading other negative posts, I noticed that several other customers claimed to have cleaned the rv and were still charged. I will admitt that the inside wasn't professionally cleaned but I swept, vacumed and wiped the entire unit down. If I would have known that I was going to be charged I would have never waisted my time. When speaking to the representative, I was told that there was no negotiation and that I was already charged. I plan to file a complaint with my credit card company also. I will pay for service and goods that I utilized but feel that this company is very dishonest.
