The stores in Plainfield and Whippany NJ appear to be abandoned. The employees are gone and the place is locked

I spent considerable money at the store in November. I had to order my Dining room chairs. I was told 10 - 12 weeks. It is now August and I still do not have my chairs. Manufacturer has them, but are still holding them due to EM not paying for them. DON"T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM

We asked for carpets that were in stock and ordered from what was available in mid April. We had all the measurements completed. When we tried to arrange installation (July), we were told they not only didn't have our carpeting but that they didn't know when they might get it. In addition, our calls were not returned. This was a terrible experience.

My husband and I ordered a rug for our entry foyer. After making us wait for 12 weeks, my husband went to pick up the carpet. Although it had our name on it, when we got it home, it was a much cheaper carpet, they insisted it was the correct carpet and would not exchange it. If you order a carpet, take a photo to prove you are getting what you paid for.
