Filing bankruptcy is life altering. Cynthia Carroll did not have my best interest in mind at any time during the process. It was bad enough to be disabled by a drunk driver,leading to this bankruptcy but to have the very attorney I hired to help me through the process shafted me. I explained over and over and over that I had only 2 car payments left, do not include my car, also many credit cards had such low balances that I could have paid them off before going forward. Over the course of 2 years as I made my payments I questioned why I was paying her for a car that I had the title to as I had paid it off. Try getting an answer of where that 2 years of payments went!!! I finally had enough of her bad business tactics and called to have it out. She agreed to meet with me ON HER. When I refused to accept her explanation and said I was going to called the trustee myself she slapped me with a $750.00 bill for the meeting and $180 for the phone call to set up the meeting!seriously? ...read more

The lawyer handling my case was so inefective this was a joke. Poor communication and expensive. The first thing I asked was to get the other party in for a deposition and she said it was not necc. All she wanted me to do was settle with them even though I was the one defrauded. The person sueing me I had never even met nor had they paid me any money. This is clearly a scam lawsuit. I fired them in Dec 2008 and they continued to bill me for services even though they were fired. I actually paid $394.45 more than I had to and they decided to sue me for the work they did after I fired them. I would never recomend them. ...read more
