Looking to find a pediatrician for our first child due in a few weeks. They are too busy to even take a call in the early afternoon on a Thursday. Their outgoing message tells me to call 911 if it's an emergency and leaves NO option to talk with anyone and simply hangs up on me automatically. Seriously? I called back a few hours later and was told that we are unable to setup a prenatal "chat" with a pediatrician because they are just too busy to do so. I was told to call back after the baby is born. I wanted to share my experience with the practice. I called First State Pediatrics to set up a prenatal appointment with Dr. Olivieri. They told me that they're too busy to do that and I should call after the baby is born. When I explained that I wasn't comfortable committing to the practice without interviewing the doctor, the receptionist started raising her voice at me and said that they don't really care and hang up on me. Unbelievable! And these people deal with little babies and new mommies on a daily basis. Absolutely ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. ...read more
