She has felling ill to stage 4 breast cancer and placed on Hospice care I would like to asked for your blessing to have her service at the same location that my grand-father the late William Frank Hudson whom was a deacon with your church for many years and he too as well as my grand-mother had there homecoming service at Mentrotone Baptist Church. The leaders in this church were overly disrespectful to my family as we grieved the loss of our loved one. They explicitly rushed through the service and the viewing of my loved one and called my mother a demon when she got out of her seat to use the restroom. The presiding pastor assumed that we were "demons" and the lead minister continuously, rudely interrupted an elder in my family who sang a musical selection for the family and the deceased. Many of my grieving family members felt so disrespected and my deceased family member was equally disrespected by this church. As a lifelong Christian, who has been saved since age 15, an educated, upstanding citizen of the Washington, DC community, I have NEVER experienced the absolute disgust and inhumanity that I experienced at this church. I will be taking further action with community leaders, the Board of Directors, and whomever else to demand a public apology to my family. God is love. ...read more
