The Impact of Digital Disruption

The priority for most companies nowadays is for their business to establish a name in the digital world. Physical outlook of branding may come later. Almost all businesses are undergoing digital transformation where there is a need to adapt technological advancement and systems to fully be functional. It is also critical to keep up with the fast pace of change or lead it. Getting left behind may mean obsolesce. Warnings are being shared between competitors and allow a streak of unity in between.  Axis Capital Group, affiliate of XL Axiata and one of the top ten telecommunications providers in Indonesia has expressed how the Big Three, Telkomsel, Indosat and XL have become partners and rivals since digital disruption has been expanding from Jakarta to the rural areas of Sumatra. Even the terms “new” and “innovative” are already being challenged and it poses great challenge to provide better and more innovative services to clients. Customers now expect better product/services from those which have been out in the market, thus setting more competition and inciting fiercer ideas.  ...read more
