I was hesitant to trust my late father's Rolex watch with any watch store, but after asking around, I heard wonderful things about Gold-N-Time in Dupont Circle. I did not regret my decision! I had to ask the Bistro next door on how to find Gold-N-Time's front door, but, once in the store, I was impressed. I think it is a family-run business... Joseph, the watchmaker and main boss, greeted me warmly. He was very knowledgable about watches and was very patience with my numerous questions and concerns. He quoted a repair estimate that seemed a bit expensive, however, after checking prices, it seemed on the high-end, but fair. He assured me that he is an expert and would restore my Rolex watch exactly as before. The repairs took longer than expected, two-to three weeks late and they only returned one of my three calls checking the status, however, I was looking for opulent customer service.
