We were celebrating my 65th birthday in “Europe” restaurant located in West Hartford, 141 Shield Street in December 21st, 2013 with my friends and relatives. Unfortunately it was Ed and Alla’s shift. When I were choosing the cold and hot entries, Alla told me that 14 cold, 3 hot and 3 main entries will be more then enough and I will bring a lot of leftovers back home. When we arrived to the restaurant I saw that all cold cuts, smoked fish were cut so thin that could not be picked up by fork and you can see the plate through the food. There were not enough pieces to every person at our table. When hot fish was served there only two small peaces and was not enough. When the main dish was served there were two big platter with meat and nobody even touch it, because already was late and everybody was dancing. The cake was served, and shortly we left home. When I came home I open the box that they gave me, only a few peaces of meat was there, few fresh vegetables and carton of potato, the rest they left at restaurant. I had relatives that came from New York and they were shocked how we were robbed. I thing that is so unfair! Please take my advice - do not go to this restaurant when the Ed and Alla ‘s shift! ...read more
