Orlando's Barber Shop

Now this is what you call a barbershop c: Very courteous to women with children , free convenient parking and wifi. Love the fact that I can be in and out with no wait (only if you make an appt) lol because the place is always so busy , but I guess thats how u can tell its a great barbershop, if u have not a person waiting, I guess u know what kind of business it is!! Don't make the mistake of going next door , I went once and they where so disgusting . Cutting hair drunk and the smell of pot reeked all the way up front , and no shirts on. That was only because it was my first time to bring my son for a buzz and next door was Real busy. But I learned my lesson , Never Again will I go next door to Orlando's. I think it's called A barbershop. U can tell the difference . Whose real barbers and who's not!! I'll leave that up for u to judge. Orlandos is my favorite!! ...read more

I have been coming to the Gentleman's workshop for 5 years now, Dickie has helped me with all sorts of transitions of my hair. From 1 inch to shoulder. He knows whats up. Any conception I want to do with my hair, he takes what I want, then adds what I couldn't fathom. At this point, he is much more than just a hairdresser, he is my friend and comrade to help tailor the way I look to succeed in my next endeavors in life, with style. Thanks Dickie for all the awesome cuts over the years! ...read more

Nail Care is a wonderful little place! I go there all the time for waxing. They do a fabulous job. They take their time and make sure it's perfect. They also do a great job with manicures and pedicures! Their prices are very low, but their service is fantastic. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. ...read more

Keeping your Hair and Skin Healthy

We're often asked "How do I stop my ends from drying out and looking frizzy"? My answer is being sure your hair is saturated w/moisture.  If the hair is full to capacity, it won't go looking for humidity in the air causing it to go limp, or worse getting wider and frizzier.  The key is optimum home care with a product or cocktail that binds moisture to the keratin molecules in the hair fiber.  I have specific reccomendations for each hair type.  "What about my skin"?  Usually clients think they're oily, dry or combination.  Nine times out of 10, it's dehydration that causes the skin to look dull or feel greasy.  There is a care program to normalize these conditions too.  We use a system called the "identitest" that measures accurate amounts of moisture in the dermis (deeper tissue) as well as the epidermis or outside layers that we can touch and cover with moisturizer which makes it feel better temporarily.  There is a solution to combating these issues with a proper home care regimen. ...read more
