I rented from them for about 3 years. THEY almost never fixed anything. For the entire three years I had a few windows that didn't work. I had to fix everything myself. I even hired a cleaning company to clean the entire apartment and shampoo the rugs and they screwed me out of my $1400 security. I found out later that this happens all the time and there are many court cases against West shore for their shadey practices. Some are still pending. My attorney has advised me to do the same. This is without a doubt one of theee most incompitent companies out there. I was shown a rental in Milford. I liked the unit and wanted to rent it out. After going thru the credit check, which passed, I was told I would know if I would get this unit for rent. The rental agent said that she would def. get back to me by day's end, and that we were approved, but just had to check w/ the owner of the unit. No call that day, and when I called later in the day, I just got a voicemail. Finally got a hold of the rental agent the next day, and she said they're still waiting for an answer from the homeowner, and now he was checking w/ his atty. if it was ok to rent.??????? Later that day, The rental agent called and said that the atty. advised against renting the unit because of a short sale issue...I was livid. Then later the Broker for West shore called me and said the property was going to be foreclosed on in a couple months..very unproffesional comp. 4 days later I recieved my deposit check back from west shore w/ what they said would inc. a copy of my credit report...well I did get my check and a copy of a credit report, but they sent me someone elses credit report by mistake.
