I run a body shop in VT. I purchased a Toytota Corolla motor from Walter. He told me it had 40,000 miles on it and he stated that he heard the motor run. I paid him $750.00 for the motor and drove 400 huindred miles round trip to get it . When we put the motor in and tried to start it, we realized it was siezed up. We then tried to take the spark plugs out and two of them pulled the threads right out of the cyclinder head .This motor has been sitting for a long time and has not run in years. I called Walter about it and he nows tells me he turned the motor over contradicting what he first told me I told him I would return it and show him that it was siezed up and he said no, I was stuck with it. He originally gave me a "99 day warranty" that turned out to be a "tail light warranty". I believe he knew this motor was no good and sold it to a guy from VT who would not have much recourse.
