Ok so everyone makes mistakes but the manager has a nasty disposition sits high on a proverbial pedestal and refused to hear me out about the mistake. It took forever to get waited on . I would say take our orders within 25 minutes at the very least. The manager told us that I had an attitude when I stated that I would like to have our orders taken and asked if there was a problem. He told me that it was none of my business to ask if there was a problem. I would add that we did hear some yelling and screaming in the downstairs area. We left and ate in Clinton at the New Deal Restaurant. That place was nice. In fact they gave us free drinks when we told them about our Wharf experience ! We tried to decline but they insisted, so We left a generous tip ! ...read more

The Wharf was a great place , no changes to it were ever warranted . Its under new ownership , but its the management that is the issue here. They made the menu smaller . They made the staff smaller. Smaller portions depending on the entree. On the books its looks good but if you plan to dine there you might be disappointed if you are familiar with the old traditional Wharf of the past 20+ years. The atmosphere is great . The building is of great character . Wonderful view of the shoreline. I understand this might be replaced with a new MODERN building with no character which coincides with the new management style. This is progress folks. ...read more
