Always happy with how my pet looks after her "day at the spa" and even more happy with how she acts when she's there. No more nervous nelly, she's genuinely excited to see the staff at Little Shop. They love her and you can tell she loves them. ...read more

Little Shop of Howlers

It is an absolute disgrace for Little Shop of Howlers to advertise as " loving, educated pet professionals."My 21 month old Toy Poodle,Lulu, is traumatized & so am I!!! Not only did Erin, the owner, negligently cut my dog, but she was EXTREMELY negligent in continuing to groom her with an open wound!!! Absolute outrageous behavior for a "professional" to engage in!!! The whole entire experience was horrible. When I arrived to pick her up, it seemed more of like a daycare rather than a grooming salon. There were 2 children in the grooming area who were running around, screaming, crying & fighting with each other. (I'm assuming it was the owner's children). Then I watched in horror as Erin plucked Lulu's ears. Lulu started screaming in pain as Erin continued to pluck the hair. I have watched previous Vets AND groomers pluck her ears, and she never even flinched - nevermind scream in pain. THEN after about 20 minutes of me being there, Erin proceeds to tell me that Lulu has a "minor cut" and wants to show me before I leave. Well, a "minor cut" was an extreme understatement. I became franctic and extremely upset when I saw the amount of blood oozing from under her belly. There was so much blood that my shirt was covered in it!!! Erin claims that Lulu "moved" as she was clipping her. Lulu has never ever "moved" before - I firmly believe she "moved" because there were two screaming children right next to the grooming table and she was scared!!!! I then immediately took her to the vet where she received three stitches. The vet stated he was "shocked" that the groomer didn't bring her in as soon as it happened. He said other groomers ALWAYS bring the animal in for immediate medical care and so the owner doesn't have to witness all the blood. Now, the vet wants to monitor her for any possible infection since Erin left an open wound and continued to groom her. I suppose Erin was more concerned with finishing Lulu's grooming so she could get the next customer in rather than being concerned about Lulu's health. ...read more

This shop offers full body mud wraps, hot oil treatments, facial scrubs, you name it, for your dog! I liked mostly that I didn't have to leave my girl there all day like I've had to do at other shops. I even waited while she got groomed. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to try some of those spa treatments! ...read more
