Don't even make this your last option !!!

Not even under sheer desperation should you come here. This place is almost as bad as living in a shelter, only difference is that you actually pay your hard earned money to live in this dump. The office staff are rude, and they are theives. The maintanence men, while they are very nice, do NOT fix anything. While the apartment is very spacious, that is the only NICE feature. The plumbing is horrible, are stove just went out, the dishwasher is a joke. I think the office staff may use the neighborhood kids to paint the apartments before the new tenants move in because our apartment was horrible BUT we were desperate. We are moving out no doubt when are lease is up. I'd rather rent a weekly room than to resign my lease!!!!

Stay away, they violate state and federal law. RUN AWAY

I've spent the last 6 months trying to get things fixed which were broken when I moved in. I lived 5 months with little to no heat (through the winter) and the broken dishwasher has been filled with mold for the last 6 months. Covington Square is quite possibly the worst complex I've ever lived in. EVER. And I lived in a college town at one point in my life. There is a rotating cast of characters in the front office. They always say "Oh no! We'll fix it immediately." Nothing, and I can't stress this enough, NOTHING is ever fixed. I have now filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General's office. We'll see how that goes. They've cost be HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of dollars in leave from my work while I wait for repair people who NEVER show up. There is nothing good about this complex. RUN. RUN FAR AWAY. I have started collecting stories about this place to take to the media. if you have lived here, email me your experience at CovingtonSquareLies (a) gmail dot com.

Will not stay

When we first moved in, we found our apartment was not move-in ready at all. The garbage disposal didn't work, the kitchen sink leaked, the bathroom sink leaked, the bathtub had been painted over to hide the mold and the cracks, the refrigerator didn't work, screens were missing in the windows, the stove wasn't ready, a window wouldn't stay open, the A/C doesn't work. Half of these problems have still not been fixed despite complaints. They never tell you what is going on such as when they plan on working on the water heaters. The laundry rooms are disgusting. The neighbors are always loud, constantly playing their music at ridiculous levels. The pet deposit is expensive-- $300 in which only $150 is refundable. It's really just not a nice place to live. The location is okay if you want easy access to the interstate and downtown. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Worse experience in my life 1 of 2

Do not go there...my wife and I moved there and moved out 10 days later. Basically, among all the many bad things they put us through, our apartment was broken into through the back window the SECOND DAY of our move in day. Only a laptop was stolen then. On DAY 10, we get broken into AGAIN. This time through the front door, and conveniently enough, NOBODY saw anything. This time, our 42" TV was stolen along with my Xbox, another 16" TV, and about $5,000 worth of my wife's jewelry. That's not even the worse part of it all. The worse part was to receive a phone call from my wife, who had just come back home alone, terrified, while I was at work fearing someone could still be inside since I've only left the apartment less than 2 hours prior this phone call. This has definitely changed my life in a way no one could ever understand unless one would have experienced it themself.Maintenance never came to fix anything until we moved out. Office lost my keys and claimed to never had it.
