Well, when I called, they said I must bring my amp in to have it looked at. I needed two new RCA jacks, and my power switch needed to be cleaned. I met the service writer who informed me, that there was a $175 fee just to look at it, and then "we can go from there". I said I would be fine if he will replace my jacks and clean my power switch, but he would not agree. The $175 of course was non refundable. These are exorbitant rates. In case you are thinking, well that is what things cost now days, think again. They have the Rug Doctor shampooer in there "on sale" for $799, marked down from $899. Go to Walmart, and you can get it for $499, or go to Sam's and get it for $399. I want everyone to make a profit, and I would rather buy from the small guy, but I felt like I was in a sleaze-hole. You make your own decision, but don't waste the gas to go there. I did not use their service. ...read more

We have Repaired and serviced our church's two Sony projector systems with long throw lenses that were giving us different error codes. We found this store after calling sony for help and support, they provided quick and good repairs. I have since come back to this place for our electrolux vacuum parts and bags to maintain our facilities. I am now ordering royal shampooer parts which we ordered already before and they got it in within the week. This place has great staff and they totally cater to our needs. I intentionally drive further to this store because the one closer to us has bad service. I really like this place and I am glad to support a local business. ...read more

My projector does not work when I turn it on! Step one would be to make sure the outlet in which the projector is connected has power (test using something like a hair dryer or vacuum). The next simple check is to make sure your projection lamp is good and not burnt. Most projectors have “indicator” or “status” LED lights on the power switch or the control panel. If this light is on or flashing please refer to your owner’s manual for possible diagnosis and solutions. 2. My projector is “on” but I do not get a signal or picture? When setting up your equipment make sure you first turn on your projector. You will usually see a logo screen, blue screen or blank image, once you see this turn on your other components or computer, (confirm your cables are connected properly). Most laptops require a manual setting change for them to send the signal to the projector. First step to do this is to locate the “function” key at the top of your keypad that reads “LCD”, “CRT” or it may have an icon that resembles a computer monitor. Press the “FN” key and the display key and you will be able to obtain the image from the projector only. This is known as “toggling” the image. Some laptops give you the ability to mirror your displays. 3. My Projector screen is scrolling” or “I’m only getting a partial image? A scrolling or oddly sized projector image is usually caused by the computer’s resolution not being completely compatible with the projector’s resolution. You will need to adjust your computer’s resolution to match the projector. (the projector’s resolution can be found in the “specifications” page of the projector owner’s manual.) You will be able to access the computer’s resolution and make changes by performing the following steps: For Windows ’95 – Go to the “Start” icon on the desktop area of the computer and click. Select “Settings”, “Control Panel” and then click on “Display”. Choose the “Settings” tab and locate the slide bar that represents the computers current resolution. (example 800 X 600) Change the resolution to match that of the projector and click “OK”. You will need to restart your computer to apply the changes. For Other Windows – Go into the Main Window, double click on “Windows Setup”, choose “Change Systems Settings” from the “Options” menu, choose “Display” and change setting to match that of the projector. Restart your computer to save these changes. This can also be caused by the signal being displayed on both the computer’s (laptop) LED screen and the projection screen. If you are getting poor results even after resetting the computer’s resolution try to “toggle” the image by using the steps shown in the ” I’m getting no signal or picture” section above. Your best results should come when the image is on the projection screen only. 4. Projector Lamp problems: Q: My projector is on and I can hear the fan but the no light or image is produced. A: Remove the lamp from the projector (usually held in by phillips screws below a square plastic door). Inspect the bulb and make sure that it has no cracks, discoloration or “smoky” appearance. It may have blown out. Q: I inspected the lamp and it looks fine but the projector does not emit an image. I can hear a “clicking” sound coming from the projector when I turn it on. A: That clicking noise is most likely caused by your lamp ballast attempting to ignite the lamp and failing. It is recommended that you try removing and reseating the lamp(make sure the connections between the lamp and the TV are clean and not misaligned or oxidized), or to try another lamp. ...read more
