I went to see Dr. Barker for a simple cleaning and on my first visit they told me they had to do an hours worth of x-rays and evaluations. Then I scheduled a second appointment to get a cleaning and then they tell me they have some other procedure that would take an hour and they would need to repeat it for another hour on the other side of my mouth. I have had regular cleanings every 6 months for 10+ years without issue. So after 2 appointments they still would not give me a cleaning. They are the single worst dental office I have ever been to. Expect 3-5 visits just to get a basic cleaning so they can charge your insurance through the roof. I do NOT suggest this office to anyone!!!!!!!!!! both of my children (ages 7 and 9) and I had our cleanings and check ups yesterday. We were treated kindly and gently (key for me). I've been traveling over an hour each way to go to this dentist for 8 years and will continue to do so. I don't feel like we get scammed into extra dental work here and I'm not afraid of this dentist like I am of others. My children like it as well. We've all had fillings and even root canals here.
