Charged with Felony theft, id theft and check fraud in Adams county Colorado (2018CR53). Swiped credit card information for his son Lance Williams (also an outstanding citizen working at Long Technologies in Colorado) without the credit card owner's permission (Denver court case: 15C71949) . Most frustrating day I've had the displeasure of experiencing in quite awhile. One of the employees, went OUT OF HER WAY to make life difficult for me, just because she could. I left and came back a little bit later to just get another employee to help me. No - she saw me, singled me out again! Left - waited 8 hours until I thought she'd be gone - hoping they don't work like nurses or docs in a hospital and have to pull 12 hours shifts. So at 8 pm, I go back, nice guy jason I think helped me, passed me to Jeff who was super cool and I was out of the store with my product in 15 minutes. I don't recommend though - stick with Amazon or Verizon stores - save your time. Gave 1 star in respect for the good product. ...read more

I took a hp notebook in for repair, won't start up from sleep mode or shut off if it did not wake up. I was told the first time there was nothing wrong with it. When I picked it up the tech witnessed the issue and sent it out for repair with a detailed note as to the issue. I picked it up two weeks later to find out that the hp tech in Kentucky replaced a bad speaker (that wasn't bad). This notebook is only three months old at this point. I have been told that I can either let the geek squad send it out again or go directly to hp. I choose hp. Best buy wont exchange or refund because its out of its 30 day warranty with them. So, now I have been on the phone for a total of 4 hours with hp and still not sure the issue is fixed. I may still have to sip it to hp directly, will determine that later today. ...read more

As our children grow up in the presence of the Internet, computer skills have become as fundamental as learning to swim or ride a bike. In fact, a recent survey showed that more small children know how to play a computer game than ride a bike, and more small children can use an application on a smartphone than can tie their own shoelaces. The European Union has made an investment in its children through supporting the INSAFE co-operation network (http://www.saferinternet.org), which exists to empower citizens to use the internet, as well as other online technologies, positively, safely and effectively. On the second day of the second week of the second month of the year, participating INSAFE countries observe ‘Safer Internet Day', with the 2011 date falling on Tuesday 8 February. This day highlights programs and events to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world. Safer Internet Day was launch in 2007 and last year 500 events were held across 65 countries. Events include schools running age-appropriate internet safety lessons, webinars, radio broadcasts and a Young People's Symposium (where 40 UK teens will add their thoughts on how to create effective educational campaigns).
