Haswell is a part of the Kiowa County region/metro area of Colorado. Major attractions include Kiowa County Museum and Eads Town Swimming Pool. Each year in the summer season there is the annual Summerfest. Among the biggest companies in Haswell are Temple Grain and Haswell Propane. The biggest schools here are Karval High School and Las Animas Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Haswell is Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site.
