About Gypsum, CO
Gypsum is in Eagle County located in the central area of Colorado known for its regional airport and close location to numerous recreational areas including Vail and Aspen ski resorts. Major attractions include the Gypsum Creek Golf Course, fly-fishing, float trips on the Eagle or Colorado Rivers, the scenic Rocky Mountains, and the nearby Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Pool and resort.
Each summer the Gypsum Daze Festival draws from among the best musical artists for a concert at the Lundgren amphitheatre. The biggest company in Gypsum is the American Gypsum drywall plant and mine. One of the best places to visit when you are in Gypsum is Lundgren House, now restored as the Rittenhouse Restaurant and bed and breakfast.
Gypsum has excellent public schools and a growing business community. It's a great place to visit or live!
