She was a very costly and disingenuous person. She made you feel like she was only on your side as she twists around witness reports and statements to make a person look bad. It is amazing how she left out so much information and made so much up! All in all her final report was a very very expensive fiction novel. ...read more

I took my children to Karen Fay for counseling. I was very unimpressed with her demeanor (she talks baby-talk not only to my children but to me) and it seemed we were spending money on expensive playtime. My children didn't like going to see her, and I found her advice to me to be sophomoric and simple, things that everyone would know. ...read more

I took my children to see Karen Fay. I was not impressed whatsoever. Karen employs a style that doesn't sit well with me. She talks baby-talk not only to my children but to me as well. My children soon expressed that they didn't like seeing her, either. I failed to see the benefit of her counseling, as it seemed the sessions were just an expensive playtime. ...read more

Letting go to grow

This seems to be the time of year when people are motivated to make positive changes in their lives (e.g. - be more organized, start a new bookkeeping system, clean out the garage or closets, ...). It's almost a cleansing process. The same is true in our personal lives. Periodically we need to take inventory and clean out areas of our lives that are packed in too tightly, collecting dust, or even worse, are beginning to rot. Over time your life may have gotten cluttered with stuff (activites) that no longer energize you; in fact, they may be big energy drains. Or, you may have been carrying around emotional stuff that you are ready to let go of. Hanging on to things that no longer serve will only drain/waste your energy, just like a dripping faucet will over time, waste gallons of water.By letting go, clearing out, you make room for newness in your life. I challenge you to take a look at your personal life and see if there is even one area n which you'd like to see positive change. Before you try adding, first see what needs to be cleared out. The more energy you free up, the more motivated you will be to continue in this process.Letting go can be tough, but the rewards of increased energy and feeling happier, are well worth it. ...read more
