My wonderful parents ordered me a bouquet of roses for my birthday. Now while the roses were beautiful, they were delivered 2 days late. When my mother called to complain about the late delivery they claimed that they had left 2 notices on my door and called my house. This is a bold faced lie! They never came to my door as I was home all two days they claimed to have been here knocking.
