They are the cleanest burning candles on the market today, when burnt the candles leave no soot, that black ring usually around the candles. Another great thing aout our candles the wax does not scald, which means safe to have around your kids, if they do happen to bump and knock over any candles the wax will not burn them. I think the best thing is that the fragrance oils in the candles are mixed throughout the wax, so the fragrance last the whole candle. I have even found that some of the candles you don't even have to burn to smell them. The candles burn completely the only thing left is the clip from the wick.
