3/9/2015 Horrible nightmare of a family orientated professional. My experience with her was a year ago believing she was going to be professional as like others whom encountered her I was treated very unprofessionally and with the ut most disrespect. It was court ordered both parties hire her services, having my childs best interest at heart during our Parenting time case we hired her. I encountered a individual whom will argue with you in front of your child about hiring her for more sessions against all parental rules of non-conflict. She will choose sides on whom ever will continue to hire her at $150 a session and whom ever opts out of her ( MAL-PRACTICE) she will completely rail road in the report to the court. If you choose to opt out of her own future recommended services she will bash you as a parent in her report everytime. Choose the Karlis Center or (any other professional service) or get railroad like myself and many others.. please read "yahoo reviews and many other reveiws as this is my first posted review but all other reviews were right on par with my complaints. I thought I was alone in the irreversible damage she inflected upon my court case and parental time review. However there is a long line of families she has railroaded in exchange for opting out of her monetary gains. Yes with out the best interest for the child. If you get appointed Barbara Shindell ..BEWARE..STAY AWAY! Do everything you can to change to another service provider.. it might cost you your case and irreplaceable parental time with your child regardless of the facts of our case . Barbara Shindell provides therapy and at times, writes reports for the court when there is a parental dispute. Such reports are called CFi’s or PRE’s. Should you have the misfortune of being assigned Ms. Shindell as your CFI, PRE or therapist, request that you be assigned someone (anyone) else.
