I've been going to their auctions for some time and always wondered why their employees pumped me for info on value, what I might bid, what something is worth or watched what I wrote down when looking at certain merchandise. Then I recently found out - their employee's are allowed to bid at their auctions! They also get to pre-preview all the stuff for sale and check things out more thoroughly than the public could ever have the time to. Worst of all Roller (unethically) DOES NOT disclose any of this anywhere!\r\n\r\nWhat a sham - I was wondering why some things were bid up over a weekend when the previews didn't even start until the following week (items that you could not clearly see value in - in the pictures or descriptions on the web. And why some things were bid and closed prior to accepting my higher bid!\r\n\r\nNow, most recently they've added insult to injury and added an ADDITIONAL 10% buyers premium!\r\n\r\nI'm done with them! ...read more
