I have to put this out there to anyone who is considering sending a loved one here DON’T! This place has been a real eye opener. I’ve always heard horror stories about people stealing but what I have witnessed in downright abuse! There are a handful of people, who have been really good to my mother, and I am grateful for that, but I am going to be taking my mother out of there as soon as possible! There is a woman there named Barb Davila? (I am not sure on the spelling she’s activities personnel I’ve been told) who I have seen on not one but two separate occasions verbally and physically assaulting the residents (calling them stupid and intentionally pushing a man in a wheelchair into the wall). This is the worse place ever!!! The RN (Elizabeth Martinez) came in when I was on the toilet and did a blood sugar test and a Heparin shot. I tried to tell her I was kinda busy but she ignored me. When I told her I wanted a woman to help me with my shower and to go to the toilet, she started questioning me about why I didn't like men. That's when I asked for her to be taken off my case. I have been married to the same man for 51 years. This woman needs to be removed from patient care. She doesn't know the meaning of it. Just ask her co workers. ...read more

How it started for us
