About Crested Butte, CO

Crested Butte is a city located in Gunnison County, Colorado. It is said to be the "Last great Colorado ski town". The city has a population of around 1,500 people and covers less than one square mile. The city has an average household income of about $41,000. Crested Butte, nicknamed "The Wildflower Capital of Colorado" was a mining town. The other main industry in the city was ranching. The city is said to be one of the places where mountain biking started and is home to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. The city, a widely popular location for skiing, is also home to a many summer festivals including an arts festival and a wildflower festival. Crested Butte is the home town of MTV's reality show The Hills star Heidi Montag. It was also the setting for the Disney movie Snowball Express.

If you're lucky enough to get a hold of the person that takes reservations for Dolly's you'll immediately notice their lack of professionalism. They made a reservation and never communicated any details or even gave a confirmation. We basically had no idea if they were going to show up or where exactly they would. Joey and her staff are top notch! My wife and I are from Austin, TX. When we were planning our wedding a local event coordinator gave us the number of Joey at Crested Butte Rental Center to work with as well as a few others. We called all 3 and immediately chose to work with Joey. For one, our wedding fell on August 4th which we were quickly informed is the "2nd busiest weekend of the summer." That being the arts festival. Not the best date on our part, but it's what worked for us.We first reached out to her in March/April. 4 months before the event. Over the next few months we would constantly make changes to our order, request ideas, pictures, etc etc and every single time Joey responded quickly and professionally. She never batted an eye when we made changes, even at the last minute. She was happy to remove $250 of white chairs we rented when the venue informed us they purchased their own chairs.
