The alano house is just trying to make money. They do NOT care if you succeed. They are only interested in money. I lived there for 6 months and was threatened to be kicked out multiple times just over a few dollars of rent. This place stresses you out to the point where all you want to do is use. The managers are insane, and think they are god because they have so much power. And theres nothing you can do about it. DO NOT GO HERE. I wish i could give them less than "1 star" ...read more

Is Happy Hour a set up?

More and more I see people having to come to alcohol education classes and/or therapy with a BAC of .05. This could mean one or two drinks depending on size and strength of drink. Anyone who enjoys a drink or two out and drives home-even a short distance-could find themselves with a DWAI (drive while impaired). If you go to Happy hour then take a cab if you are going to drink. A $20 cab ride beats a $1000 and up DUI/DWAI!-A. Bastille ...read more

How does someone get a DUI/DWAI?

What does "over the limit really mean?"  In the state of Colorado being over the limit means having a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .08. A person weighing 150 could have about three drinks in an hour and have a BAC of .08. BUT did you know that having just one drink and a BAC of .05 could still get you a DWAI (driving under the influence). A person with a DUI or DWAI could end up getting arrested and having to do Alcohol Education classes which consist of 12 weeks/24 hours. The average price for these classes is $260.00. If your BAC is high or you have prior DUI's then you may end up doing therapy classes as well. This could be up to an additional 43 weeks and cost another $1075.00 approx. Don't take a chance and drink anything and drive. If you do find yourself with a DUI/DWAI then AAA Treatment Center recommends you start classes before going to court. We will help every step of the way.-A. Bastille ...read more
