They have 1 1/2 stars on Yahoo reviews; 2 stars on Google; and for good reason. We scheduled a showing of one of their properties in a higher end neighborhood in Colorado Springs (The Spires); checked to make sure we did not have any emails or phone calls canceling the appointment (we live 2 minutes from the rental house), and were stood up by the rep. who was supposed to show the house. We waited for 20 minutes, then left. When I called to see what happened, the woman who answered the phone said she'd called me twice to confirm -- but I had no missed calls on my cell. When I told her this, she was rude and belligerent -- just as all of the Yahoo and Google reviews said the staff at Select Properties is. Also, the property is terribly rundown -- exterior paint peeling off; a basketball hoop stand white, gray and red, with various levels of spray paint. The front concrete steps are pulling away from the porch. Interior blinds not covering the windows. The garage doors badly marked. Amazing people great service they have a new assistant she has been there for about a year and a half now she is so fast and tries to get our needs done as swiftly as possible. They do an amazing job. Most places charge about $100 for an application fee ours was only 20 and then we had to put down a deposit. She worked with us on the deposit and let us make payments. As well as working with us because our credit was bad and not a lot of agencies do that. Very grateful we found them! ...read more
