Chosen Children International ( CCI), a Colorado Springs,Co based christian charity is making a difference in the lives of orphaned children in Kenya. The children CCI is taking care of were found to be severly malnourished, not attending school, and wearing tatered clothes. They are living with their elderly and destitute grandparents who are all unemployed and have no means to support themselves or their grandchildren. CCI is building a holistic Village for the children. The first building was started this past December, the health clinic. The Village plans call for an elementary school, a high school, a technical school, 12 homes for 12 resident children each plus house parents and a chapel. We want the kids to have a complete education consisting of acedemic, spiritual, technical and agricultural phases.
