Personal Touch is Your Sustainable Landscape Partner! Protecting Colorado Resources Through Responsible, Sustainable Landscaping! As you may know, Personal Touch is a proud member of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado. In 2013, the ALCC developed a cutting edge program specially designed for Colorado called theSustainable Landscape Partner Program. As a company that strives to promote sustainable landscaping practices already, we decided that this training was an excellent opportunity to take our efforts to the next level! As a Sustainable Landscape Partner, our staff has been specially trained and certified by the ALCC to design and care for landscapes in our severe Colorado conditions. The training was provided by experts from CSU and the National Renewable Energy Lab, who keep up with and perform extensive research on sustainability, plant health, and current green strategies. Our knowledgeable staff can educate Colorado residents about our water shortages and how to effectively and efficiently use our resources by means of Xersicaping, establishing and nurturing healthy soils, using proper and updated watering techniques, and more! We can help homeowners find innovative and sustainable ways to conserve water, reduce stormwater runoff, employ responsible insect and disease control, preserve plant and soil health, and preserve our natural wildlife. But landscapes aren't the only places we practice sustainability! Personal Touch also uses green practices within our office and daily routine! By using local suppliers, recycling and reducing our waste, and conserving energy, our staff is committed to a greener future and small carbon footprint! Through eco-friendly and earth-conscious landscape practices, we can help you design, install, and maintain your entire landscape while providing you with lasting environmental, economic, and aesthetic value!
